Jade Thirlwall

Jade Amelia Thirlwall was born the 26th December 1992 and is from South Shields in Tyne and Wear. Her parents are James Thirlwall and Norma Badwi and her brother is called Karl. Jade auditioned for The X Factor in 2008, 2010 and in 2011 and she was finally accepted in her third attempt. On her first 2 attempts she was advanced to bootcamp. In 2011 she got 4 yes votes from the judges and got to bootcamp where she was unsuccessful again. She was placed in a 3 piece band with Leigh-anne Pinnock (a Little Mix member) and then she was asked to form a 4 piece band with Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson. The band had given Jade a nickname as ‘Cutie Mix’.  In the X Factor, Tulisa said that Jade looked like a ‘Disney Character’.
