Eminem

Eminem was born on the 17th of October 1972 in St Joseph, Missouri. He never got to know his father, Marshall Mathers Jr, as his father had abandoned the family when Eminem was still an infant and he rebuffed all of his son’s many attempt’s to contact him during his childhood. Eminem was raised by his mother, Deborah Mathers, she couldn’t keep a job for more than a few months, so they had to keep moving a lot between Missouri and Detroit. He had no close friends due to moing a lot and changing schools a lot. Eminem has been critical to the way his mother raised him, some even through song lyrics accusing her of many things. However, his mother denied the accusations. In 1999 she filed a $10 million defamation lawsuit against her won son and the case settled at $25,000 (mainly to make his mother stop and be quiet). Eminem released The Slim Shady in early 1999 and the album had gone multi-platinum, getting Eminem 2 Grammy Awards and 4 MTV Video Music Awards.
