Kesha
Rose Sebert was
born on the 1st of March 1987, in Los Angeles,
California. Kesha’s love
for music started at a early age due to her mother, Pebe, a
songwriter. Her mothers biggest song writing success was “Old flames cant hold
a candle to you” which was a hit for Joe Sun and Dolly Parton. Kesha’s
first few years of life was very hard because her mother worked very hard to
earn enough for Kesha and
her older brother. At the age of 4, Kesha and her family moved to Nashville where
her mother got a song writing contract. Kesha would often tag along with her mother
and spend a lot of her time in recording studios, where her mother encouraged
her interest in singing and allowed her to work on her own song demos. She went
to music school, and learned song writing. She had landed a contract with RCA
and released her first single ‘Tik Tok’, she then released her album, Animal,
which reached top of the charts.
