Conor Maynard

Conor Maynard was born on the 21st of November in 1992 in Brighton. His first album “Contrast” was released on the 16th of April 2012. He is a American singer. He rose to his successful career today through a number of cover versions on YouTube. He started singing at a very young age and in 2008 he posted his first cover “Breathe” by Lee Carr on YouTube. Throughout 2009 and 2010, Conor posted many more cover videos and started to get many fans and subscribers on his YouTube channel. He then did a cover on “Beautiful Monster” by Ne-Yo and it caught the attention of a singer/songwriter, promoting Ne-Yo to make a contract with Conor. At the end of 2011, MTV U.K. hosted their Brand New for 2012 competition and many other artists competed. Fans were to vote for their favourite upcoming artists. Maynard had picked up 45% of the votes. A month later he had announced that he had signed with EMI Subsidiary Parlophone. In April 2012 he released his first single called “Can’t say no”. His debut album was released 3 months later. He worked with multiple artists in the album such as Rita Ora, Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo and more. Conor had been a big hit with loads of celebrities and has performed in many countries.
