Austin Carter Mahone lives in San Antonia Texas and is a 17-year-old singer and musician known for looking like Justin Bieber and recording cover songs on YouTube. Austin Mahone is an American pop singer who became popular in 2011 due to posting videos on Youtube with his friend, Alex Constancio. Due to the viral videos of his performances, he quickly started to build a career. Mahone's debut single "11:11" was released on February 14, 2012. His second single "Say Somethin" was released on August 30, 2012. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, United States, April 4 1996.

 

He wasn't very popular with girls in his hometown. While Mahone had tons of admirer's online, these girls didn't notice him until he was getting really famous. He had to drop out of Public School to be home schooled instead. Many of his classmates started asking for autographs and pictures of him. Even though he missed his friends, he liked home school better than public school.

September 2011, Austin was voted no. 38 on the billboard social 50 chart. On December 2nd 2011, he was no. 28 on the list. He was the youngest on the chart.

In August 2012, he got signed to 'Chase/Universal republic records'. His hot song came out in December 2012, "Say you're just a friend." His popularity is now growing. Looks like "Baby Bieber" (AKA Austin Mahone) is all grown up and has shed the diapers.
